Self-awareness<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s2\">While consciousness is an attribute that human beings can boast about,\u00a0in countless\u00a0instances\u00a0we\u00a0nonetheless\u00a0take actions very unconsciously.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s2\">We have lost perspective of our impact on others and,\u00a0of course,\u00a0on ourselves. Unknowingly, we&#8217;re constantly making decisions, simply out of habit.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>We open our eyes in the morning and the action begins. We can hide ourselves in a corner, but still, someone&#8217;s going to knock on the door and ask: are you okay?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>The expansion of self-awareness is the ultimate goal of meditation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s2\">That&#8217;s why I deeply recommend the practice of meditation on a daily basis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>I recommend starting with simple\u00a0exercises,\u00a0like\u00a0guided meditations that can help you understand how to\u00a0approach\u00a0this practice.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s2\">Or just close your eyes for a while, and watch your mind fly away, toward other thoughts or distractions. Bring your mind back and connect with your breathing, connect with your body, connect with your heart.
